Looking good outside and inside
Although looking good in the outside won’t make you feel different about yourself and won’t help you earn the money you need it will be a sign of a healthy body and the risk of getting a disease will be lower. Exercise and nutritious meals will make the difference between a bad physical and mental condition and a long and healthy life.
Exercise prevents health problems like obesity and diabetes, if you suffer from any of these diseases don’t wait any longer, visit your doctor and begin a plan that will help you manage blood sugar levels. High cholesterol has become a very common disease, many people suffer from it and exercise can decrease its level, by doing this, strokes and heart attacks are less likely to happen. Don’t wait until a heart disease scares you and your family to death to begin jogging 3 or 4 times a week.
If you haven’t practiced any physical activity for a long time or if you smoke, ask your trainer or doctor to recommend the best exercise routine according to your current condition. Standard exercise routines for people with a good health condition are, adults: Engage in at least 30 minutes of moderate to vigorous activity, above usual activities, every other day; 45 to 60 minutes of vigorous physical activity are preferable when the body got used to effort. Children and teenagers can practice sports as part of the school activities, to practice sports teaches discipline and improves their mood, gives self confidence and prevents overweight in young people. During moderate activities, you’ll notice a slight increase in the heart rate and breathing, don’t exceed the time and intensity your body resists. Sweating is not a sign of how many calories you are losing but people usually feel proud when they sweat a lot.
Some sports that are easy to practice without spending much are, for example, basketball, soccer or tennis, join a team or group your friends and co-workers. Solo sports like running, swimming, riding a bike and roller-skate are good for people who don’t like schedules, choose when and where to practice. If you are a mom or a dad and you play with your kids this will provide excellent exercise and as a plus strengthens family relationships, specially trust. Another option is to hit the gym, there you will find a large variety of people and exercises. Workout videos are good companions too, fix your gym area at home and invite your family members to join.
Looking good in the outside might not be important for you however, some effort is needed to fit in the clothes you like and to have people staring at you because you look nice, all these make you feel more confident about yourself and brings positivism to the way you face life, is not that you need to look like a magazine model but eating fruits and long walks keep the doctor away.
